I look forward to reading more from The Great James Duff. As one who loves the written word, the eloquence and delicacy with which Mr. Duff composes something as simple as a short essay is always a delight to read.

Speaking of the truly eloquent, beautifully stated, TxFan! I look forward to those blog entries every bit as much as the episodes themselves, and I love to read them both before and after the episode----always food for thought before and a bit of additional insight and perspective after the fact---and as you said, always so poetic in their own right. There is always at least one major something that resounds with me on such a powerful level. This particular entry's fitting personal element about his place at the kitchen table made me more emotional than I should probably admit to out loud if I wanted anyone to believe that I was tough in the least. wink.gif

Seriously though, it isn't just incredible insights about the show but a glimpse into the heart, soul, and spirit of the man behind it that I love so much!

These blogs definitely continue to deserve a special shout out and an arrow pointing the way---they are always 'can't miss' for me!

Next week, in Closerland, the Police Commission releases the short-list of candidates for Chief of the LAPD. Until then.

Tx, was your bet the list or the winner? The blog said short list - not who will be chief - next week which means Pope may not be on the list or both he and Brenda may be causing him more frustration!

Well, I bet the Chief would be announced in the very last episode of the season. Semie's guess is that we'll know by the 8th episode. So it looks like we're getting much closer to a decision.

I guess I need to know if she wants chocolate or banana. rolleyes.gif shakehead.gif
